Beet Root foliage is tasty:  The young leaves can go raw into salads, the older leaves are good sauteed.  Don’t throw away the beets you thinned out!

We’ll see how many apples we get and how many the European hornets will claim this year.  Thankfully, they usually stick with the fruit that’s too high for us to reach anyway.
