More Baltic Sea Greetings

Grasswader, Heiligenhafen, Germany:  Thatched roofs and a stormy sea.  Spent lots of time there back in the day…  This house was always my favorite.


My dear mother favored the one below.  Just a little further to the left (i.e., north) the Fehmarnsundbruecke comes into view, but alas!, it is not visible in this picture.

    1. Thank you kindly. My dear mother took the pictures just the other day.
      I am sure living so close to the water is a challenge, even if the Baltic Sea is a lot less scary than the Northern Sea when it comes to bad weather. If I am not much mistaken, however, the beach as become narrower in the last 20some years…
