So this week, rather than listening to one nice tragic requiem for the occasion, you will hear a snipped from many (refer to list below).

Halloween or Hallowe’en is a celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed.

I always have Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor playing as trick-or-treaters come to the door. It’s as spooky as it gets, I think!
