I love your Classical Sundays. We are supposed to be attending the Kansas City symphony performance this afternoon, but the forecast is calling for 100% chance of blizzard conditions and treacherous roads. So, we’re not going anywhere. I told my husband I will give an impromptu performance on the piano just for him. It will include excerpts from Grieg’s Piano Concerto, which is probably my husband’s favorite piece of music. Grieg has always been one of my favorite composers. I seem drawn to composers from Norway and Finland. I’m also quite a lover of cello, so your piece today is making me very grateful to have found your blog.

As it turned out, the weather got so bad that the symphony performance was cancelled. We’ll be able to exchange our tickets for an additional performance that’s not in our season ticket package. 🙂
