Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104, B. 191 by Antonín Dvořák
Jacqueline du Pré and the London Symphony Orchestra

Jacqueline du Pré, (1945 – 1987) was a British cellist. Due to illness, she had to give up performing at the age of 28, but she is regarded as one of the greatest cellists of all time nevertheless. Enjoy her performance.
The video shows a recently re-discovered recording of a concert held in tribute to the people of Czechoslovakia days after the Soviet Union invaded. It was filmed live at the Royal Albert Hall, London, in September 1968.
Oh, as a Dvorak fan, how I love this recording of his cello concerto!
