Last night, we brought Buddy home. He was awfully thin and badly dehydrated, but with tender loving care, he is bouncing back quickly, drinking much, eating like a horse, and curiously exploring his new environment. Given that he just turned 119 last month (born in October 2005, according to records), he is doing well, and we hope he has a few years left in him still.
Life is good now for the little old Gent.
